Emma scored her first goal last night. She is not very offensive minded. She sees herself as a defensive player, preferring fullback. But because she is fast and has more ball control than most of the other kids, her coach and I have been prodding her to be more willing to take it up the field.
Last night a light went off. She spent the entire evening attacking the goal. She had at least 5 shots on goal, and one went in. Someone actually caught the goal...
