
So... now Aila has to go to an as yet unscheduled MRI guided biopsy.
An interesting side note: a study about healthcare costs is to be published in August from Harvard in the American Journal of Medicine. It has this ominous statement...
"Most people who filed medical-related bankruptcies "were solidly middle class before financial disaster hit," the study says. "Two-thirds were homeowners, and most had gone to college."
Another interesting sidenote; we paid more for Jesse's 10 stitches ( $10 copay) than we've paid for all of the oncology visits and testings so far.
In any case, we're bummed because we don't know anything more today than we knew yesterday. Might this have a silver lining?
If it's too small to be picked up by ultrasound...
