We had to get up EARLY this AM for the surgery. The kids spent the previous night at a friend's house. I woke with a migraine that turned nauseous and ugly as the morning went on. So when Aila was whisked off to the OR I was feeling pretty ill. When Aila woke several hours later I told her the good news about the surgery and biopsy. She said something like "Oh. Okay." And then she said, as she was pulled back into unconsciousness by the anesthesia ...wait for it...
